Sometimes it is necessary to make corner turns with flexible LED strips, such as at corners of crown molding.  However, it is not always desirable, or feasible, to cut the strip then reconnect the sections back together via flexible connectors.  This is especially true of LED strips with a water-resistant gel coating, where access to the copper pads is difficult.  In such situations, one can bend the strip instead.

When bending:

• Avoid making sharp turns that can result in damage to the strip.
• Avoid folding the LED strip.
• Bend between LEDs.
• Keep in mind that the bend will be raised.
