Description

This quick connector is used to attach wires to the cut end of single color (2-conductor) LED strips, without the need to solder.  Great for cases where a long LED strip is cut into multiple short sections, and each needs to be wired to a power source or to extension wires. The positive and negative terminals are labelled for easy installation. With its small size and low weight, the single color quick connector jumper is great for installing LED strips in even the smallest of spaces.

Installation

• For use with non-waterproof single-color 2-conductor LED strips. Not for use with RGB/color-changing 4-conductor LED strips.
• Resultant combined LED strip length should not exceed recommended maximum length of LED strip.

1. Check that width of LED strip matches width of connector.
2. Check that cut end of LED strip does not have solder.
3. Note the positions of the "+" and "-" terminals printed on the connector cover.
4. Align "+" and "-" terminals of cut end of LED strip with respective terminals of connector.
5. Slide LED strip into connector such that the metal contacts rest directly over bare copper pads of LED strip.
6. Close cover by clamping it down.

Specifications

* Due to tight spacing of LEDs on the 20209 strip, one must cut at an offset (instead of directly down the cut mark) in order to use this connector.  This would result in sacrificing a cuttable section of LED strip approx. 1" in length.
