Description
This quick connector is used to attach cut sections of color-changing (4-conductor) LED strips to a compatible RGB controller using a 4-pin interface, without the need to solder. Great for experimental work, as well as for individuals that would like to utilize cut sections of LED strips leftover from other projects.
Installation
- For use with non-waterproof color-changing 4-conductor LED strips with +BRG pin order. NOT for use with single color 2-conductor LED strips.
- Resultant combined LED strip length should not exceed recommended maximum length of LED strip.
- Check that width of LED strip matches width of connector.
- Check that cut end of LED strip does not have solder.
- Note the position of the "+" terminal printed on the connector cover, then open the cover.
- Align "+" terminal of cut end of LED strip with respective terminal of connector.
- Slide LED strip into connector such that the metal contacts rest directly over bare copper pads of LED strip.
- Close cover.
- Align the 4-pin interface with the 4-pin port on the RGB controller, making sure that the arrows are lined up.
